E-MRS (European Materials Research Society) promotes development of humanity eco-friendly solutions in order to confirm the European's role in the global-market, encouraging research and industry to establish closer links.

This "philosophy" is on the base of the CLaN project (co-financed by Operational Programme ERDF Basilicata 2007-2013) that aims to develop new laser integrated methodologies for the production  and characterization of technological new nanomaterials. In this context the project aims to increase in Basilicata the competence and competitiveness in strategical technological sectors by strengthening their participation to international scientific networks of cooperation.
