Euro-Mediterranean Symposium on Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy Congress, took place in Bari, Italy, on 16^th-20^th October 2013, the results of research work developed in the CLaN project (co-financed by Operational Programme ERDF Basilicata 2007-2013)  inherent the synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of nanoparticles by laser techniques have been presented. Participation to the congress represented a stimulant opportunity of growth and fruitful discussions with the scientific community working in this context.
